I keep thinking about great stuff to write about, but once I am in front of my computer, it eludes me. Right now is another one of these moments.
Actually - I am thinking about taking this blog into another direction (well - it's not like it had a direction in the first place). Maybe I should blog about salads every day... and I would not call it "Salad Days", but Salatosaurus Rex.
Another possibility would be to blog everyday about stuff I did before I eventually died (well that's what blogs are basically, right?). Maybe that would motivate me to actually do all the stuff I think about doing, but then never really pursue.
Something I have thought about the last time is how big of a potty mouth I am, and that it makes me look ignorant and makes people uncomfortable and that's not cool. ^_^

Along with my copy of Brain Age. I showed it to her a while ago and she always kept asking "can we play the brain game?" - so I thought, I will just give it to her, since I kind of lost interest in it.
She is not really tech savvy, I am afraid (not that there is anything wrong with it - I think it would really, really bum me out if I knew she had a Myspace, haha. Or would stumble over porn or gory pics on the net), but that's one of the reasons why I bought it. There's not much you can do wrong with a DS, after all.
The only problem is that she keeps talking to herself during the Brain Age Test, and the DS thinks she gave the wrong answer... "Scissors... hmmm... so when it's scissors..." - before she can say "Paper" the test already went on.
I have the feeling that she will be a pro gamer next time I am seeing her.

Damn this looks GREAT.
I can't believe this is finally happening, after all those years of rumours. It's just now after I watched the trailer that i realize that there - really! - will be a new Indiana Jones movie, man I am PSYCHED. This better be good or else. But it will be good, no doubts about it.
Raiders of the Lost Ark was the first movie that I watched on video tape (I guess I was eight, maybe nine years old). God damn that was INTENSE. I was sold right at that moment. Indiana Jones - good dude, backed hard.
Eat your heart out Star Wars, but after the mediocrity of the new films (to be honest, I didn't even bother watching the last one) I think it's safe to say Indy will age with more grace than you did.
2008 - first the new R A M B O and now a new Indiana Jones, this is the best year ever already.
I went to see Wolves in the Throne Room yesterday. As you could expect from a show that was part of Club Transmediale, the audience was very mixed, which I liked. A flock of metalheads was rocking out in front of the stage, among the more artsy types, the hipsters, the tech nerds, which had a good time too.
The bands that opened - well there was this norwegian ambient/drone/soundscape project which played only very short. It was quite enjoyable. Much more enjoyable than the band that played before them (no idea what their name was) - it was pretty pretentious, "avantgarde" noise with no song structures (which I really have no problem with at all, there are a lot of artists I love that do stuff like that, but much more original and interesting) and inconsequential vocals.
Another band that played after WITTR: Shit & Shine, which I had to endure two years ago when they opened for SunnO))) at Volksbühne - back then they were ridiculous, they had like 8 drummers, made a lot of noise, but were very, very boring and predictable. But apparently they are considered to be some kind of super group, well, I couldn't care less about them - so we left early. WITTR was easily the highlight of the evening, really intense and harsh, I loved it.
This is Busy, he is a Boxer, and yes I know he is not real but he's adorable nonetheless.
The game is on Korean which is fine too because I want to learn it anyway. My roommate gave it to me - the collar is courtesy of her too. She said it would fit my dog better then hers (a Shiba Inu named Mongu).
I already know what Yes and No look like (I will pick up the glyphs sometime soon).
I might go to Korea this Summer actually. Would be nice to be able to speak a bit Korean... this game will prepare me to talk to Korean dogs, at least (the national dog breed of Korea is the "Jindo").
Busy is pretty cool and smart, and he already won 3 competitions. And so on.
